Exploring the Classic Mediterranean Coast
Many would say the Amalfi coastline, extending south of Naples, is the most
beautiful region in the Mediterranean and it would be hard to disagree.
We explore a radiant landscape where one mountain after another plunge into
an aquamarine sea. A truly vertical landscape of green forest, deep gorges,
sheer limestone cliffs and the picturesque villages of Positano, Ravello
and Amalfi. We discover the dreamy island of Capri with its twelve Roman
villas and extraordinary rock formations rising up from the sea. Our walks
take us through vineyards and gardens, fragrant lemon and olive groves
from village to village linked by a network of walking trails. Our paths
are often well constructed steps or mule paths and were once the only route
of communication between villages. Our walks take us off the beaten track
to discover the hidden side of the Amalfi coast.
